Activities focused on research, development and evaluation of:

• an improved understanding of creep and weld damage in selected power plant materials

• validated extensions of existing computer packages/models to assist in remanent life assessment

• model for the failure of coated superalloys incorporating oxide growth, microstructural changes, creep and thermo-mechanical effects.
